Title: Website Now Online

Iruini Nuva - May 28, 2007 02:59 AM (GMT)
For the next few days the Biotech website will be offline. I've been re-htmling the whole thing during in the little spare time I have. It's looking quite pretty, way better than the old one (this one doesn't stretch with your screen :P). If anybody is interested in seeing the 'Website Under Construction' page, you can view it here, it shows off what the new site is looking like, although it doesn't reveal too much. :sly:

The site is back online again.

It seems most of you have figured out that the website is back online now. :P

I fail to see how the outline of a hexagon looks like the 3D cube of a GC (plus I'm not a big Nintendo fan)...

Not too similar, but I could see how one would draw a resemblence. *shrugs*

It seems much of the confusion is due to Dwan's modified version. Allow me to clarify that that version is currently not canon, and the hexagonal outline without the central part (as seen in the board banner) is the actual one.

Having examined the two side-by-side, I can see what you're getting at. However you should notice that the perspective for ours would be a bit off if we were trying to go for the 3D cube look. Ours is viewed from the front, as opposed to at a raised angle like many of you seem to be projecting.

So basically, yeah I can see some vague similarities, but you generally have to be looking for flaws in order to find them.

Let's move this conversation over here ok? This topic was meant mainly for discussion regarding the website itself. Any problems with it so far?
