Here is a screenshot of the upcoming Biotech Quiz! It's release will be accompanied by a contest. The winner will receive a unique, enhanced demo of 'The Insurgent'. The demo contains all the new features that the full version has. The only difference is that the winner gets it early. :P To enter, complete the quiz on the hardest difficulty level with a perfect score (trust me, it's not that hard), take a screenshot of your unique code, and PM it to Iruini Nuva before the contest ends. At the end of the contest a random drawing will be held. The winner (there may be more than one) will receive the demo.



Contest Rules:

1) This contest is open to all Bzpower and Biotech members. Should you like to join BZPower, you may do so here.
2) To enter, complete the Biotech Quiz on the hardest difficulty level. You will be presented with a unique message screen and a code. Take a screenshot (alt+print screen) of it and PM it Iruini Nuva using the link on the Contact Us! page. Limit 5 entries per person per forum.
3) The contest will begin as soon as the quiz is released (date TBA), it will end several weeks thereafter.
4)Do not distribute codes to other members around forum, either via post, PM, or another method. Doing so will result in immediate disqualification and likely further punishment. Code distribution is also a good way to have the entire contest shut down, so if you want to have a shot at winning, play by the rules!

Must've been a dead burner... But I do recall there were a good deal of people excited, or at least interested in the quiz.

I'm sure we could bring some of that hype back too, especially if we actually released it, but right now the public seems more focused on MoS3D and The Insurgent.

Well, maybe we could up the hype by anouncing say, a demo release to come in a week, and having a daily question up until then, and the first person to correctly answer the days question would be one of the seven to get that demo. Then we'd have like seven people reviewing, thus even further adding to the hype, then we have people excited about the full release again. :)

The first thing I'd need to do is get this in a position where it can be play tested. The engine works, but not nearly all the questions are programmed in. Plus, I may modify the engine anyway to boost the processor and loading efficiency.

It would help. Until then maybe if we start steering some conversation back to the quiz, thataways people will be semi interested by the time a 7 day challenge was anounced.

Aww, I was going to do that! Oh well, I just guess I going to have to post earlier. If I tried the quiz, I'd fail. And by failing, I mean the failing is below 50%. Me getting higher than a 50% on an online quiz is just a silly idea.

It won't be an online quiz (like those quizzery things on BZP). This quiz should be a nice exe file with far more capabilities than those online quizzes.

Nope. :P It'll probably be released as a promo item during a slower phase or something. Thus, a set release date may not be the best way to have it come out.

Uhh... Slower phase you say? Care to say -how- slow you're waiting for?
