Nickbomb - Overkill PMer - January 5, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
Lately Ive been wondering what people want more done. Go ahead and vote and put in your opinion please :)

Thanks,

Good night. You're BB code was a mess. I've corrected it. :P

Ok, thanks IN ;) :)

-Zach- - January 8, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
I guess people want The Insurgent. *shrugs*

Arriathan - January 8, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
I guess it's cause the Insurgent is an original storyline with original characters. It may be 2D, but it feels less--for lack of a better word--rehashed than a game using the official Bionicle characters.

-Zach- - January 8, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
Yeah I know, it's just it doesn't involve me all that much. :P

Iruini Nuva - January 9, 2007 05:50 AM (GMT)
I'm still waiting for that 3D model of the Matoran. ;)

-Zach- - January 10, 2007 02:42 AM (GMT)
*sigh* Yes master.

So seriously... why do we only work on one game at a time? I must've missed that memo.

Iruini Nuva - January 10, 2007 03:21 AM (GMT)
 I must've missed it too.

-Zach- - January 10, 2007 03:33 AM (GMT)
Oh Fine Fine, I was in Albuquerque all day today, I'll start tonight on these things. (vahki staff first)

You mean Alburquerque is an actual city, not just someplace Bugs Bunny always forgets to turn left at?

This changes everything.

And I guess you only work on one game at a time because you have limited people. If Biotech had, say, 100 workers, you could probably devote your resources to more than a single game like in the big leagues.

Not that I'm suggesting you recruit 90 more people, because that could only end in tears. :P

-Zach- - January 11, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
LOL... Yes it's a real city. And no, it's called multitasking, something which I'm -not- known for doing that well.

Iruini Nuva - January 11, 2007 12:59 AM (GMT)
I think that's something that I'm too well known for doing. >_< I think I actually shoud to cut some stuff out - but I probably won't.

Allow me to make it clear that Biotech is not only making one game. But rather choosing to focus primarily on one. I do work on games such as MoS3D or software such as the BAP, but they generally take a lower priority than The Insurgent.

-Zach- - January 11, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
Excuses excuses ex-- I mean, yeah. What he said. And yeah in case you couldn't tell -who- voted MoS3D...

Aha, kind of like how Bioware is kind-of-sort-of working on Dragon Age, which has been in the preliminary screenshot stage for years, at the same time as Mass Effect, which is close to release. Wait, what happened to Dragon Age? Hmm...

Although I'm sure Biotech will actually aim to release the other two at some point, as opposed to Bioware's Dragon Age release date of "theoretical number tied to infinity, used only in advanced mathematical calculations."

Iruini Nuva - January 11, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
Bioware? Too close in name - especially seeing as BT used to be called that. >_> But yeah, I do actually intend on releasing both The Insurgent and MoS3D. I'm actually boosting work a little on the latter, so we may see some progress.

Arriathan - January 11, 2007 02:58 AM (GMT)
Bioware are the GENIUSES over here in Edmonton behind the first Neverwinter Nights game, the Baldur's Gate series, Jade Empire, and the first Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. They're actually an incorporated game studio.

-Zach- - January 11, 2007 03:44 AM (GMT)
KOTOR=Best Star Wars Game Series Ever. v_v

Bostwik - January 27, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
The Insurgent.

Say, have those new sprites been put into it yet?

^:b: :o: :s: :t: :i: :k:^

Iruini Nuva - January 29, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
Mm, new sprites? It kinda depends what you deem 'new'. We have put a lot of Dwan/Blasty's sprites in, but many of them are the ones from the new screen shots.

BG - February 11, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
I say Piraka 3d

~Kabookie~ - February 22, 2007 12:55 AM (GMT)
The Insurgent. I've played it, Bostwik had it downloaded on the Compy. I liked it.

Understand, I mean this with respect for Biotech and as a friend:

Whatever game is chosen, complete it soon. You can hardly call yourselves a gaming company without a fully completed game. Demo you have, but what good does that do--an appetizer without a meal is certainly not enough to start a restaurant.

*DWAN* - February 24, 2007 01:38 AM (GMT)
Very good analogy sis. I think that I have nothing more to do currently. We ae waiting on IN. He has a very busy life though. School, programming, admin here, FA on another forum ect. We can just hope for a demo soon.

And where are my sprites - Mr. Spriter. :P

But yeah, I'm kinda surprised that Biotech got this big off that demo myself. Not that I mind anything. ;)

The biggest problem I'm having is that my standards are a bit high. I like to make my games as good as is within my capabilities, the problem is, sometimes that takes a while to achieve. On top of that, both games are on a huge scale, meaning that it takes a very long time for one person code.

*DWAN* - March 1, 2007 05:28 AM (GMT)
What sprites? Seriously, Make a topic for us to pic up assignments.

'B' - March 1, 2007 05:07 PM (GMT)
yeah <_<

Nickbomb - Overkill PMer - March 3, 2007 09:21 PM (GMT)
I know what you mean. Gets kinda boring for the play tester too.

Iruini Nuva - March 5, 2007 02:43 AM (GMT)
Well, I suppose I could let you toy around with my pretty flamethrower...

Gimme gimme!

Or you could let me use the sniping fuel rod :sly:

Iruini Nuva - March 14, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
Already did.

No. That's my toy.
